The district offers Head Start and early childhood learning programs for children ages 3, 4, and 5.
The Aldine ISD PreK Enrollment Expo will be on Saturday, April 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dr. Wanda Bamberg Professional Development and Resource Center (9999 Veterans Memorial Dr. • Houston, TX 77038).
The district offers Head Start and early childhood learning programs — prekindergarten and kindergarten — for children ages 3, 4, and 5. Families can preregister their eligible children for the 2023-2024 school year. The deadline to pre-enroll students in Head Start, PreK, and kindergarten is June 9, 2023.

At the PreK Enrollment Expo, you can:
- Meet with teachers and school leaders from all our early childhood schools throughout the district.
- Learn about district resources like special education, English language learners, student transportation, gifted and talented, and more!
- Connect with community resource partners providing free support services.
- AISD will provide on-site enrollment support and interpretation services.
- Families can enjoy complimentary hot dogs, water, fresh fruit, popcorn, cotton candy, and snow cones.
- Children will receive free school/summer learning supplies and books.
There will be interpreters (English/Spanish) available at the event.
In addition to school representatives, district teams and community partners will be at the expo to connect with families about their services.
